17 Mayıs tarihli yazınızda "Annuit Coeptis lafıyla ne anlatmak
istiyorlardı?" diye soruyorsunuz. Ben daha önce de yazmış olduğum
üzere "göz"e takmış durumdayım. Ama "Great Seal" denen ABD devlet
mührü üzerindeki işaretler konusundaki yorumlar hakkında biraz
araştırma yaptım.Sonuçta gördüm ki rivayet muhtelif bu konuda da.

the reverse ... can be traced more definitely to the poetry of
Virgil. Gaillard Hunt, in the Department of States first publisher on
the seal in 1892, took official notice .... Annuit Coeptis, was
described by Hunt as an allusion to line 625 of book IX of the Aeneid
JUPPITER OMNIPOTES, AUDACIBUS ANNUE COEPTIS (All-powerful Jupiter
favor [my] daring undertakings). The last three words appear also in
Virgil's GEORGICS, book I, line 40: DA FACILEM CURSUM, ATQUE
AUDACIBUS ANNUE COEPTIS (Give [me] an easy course, and favor [my]
daring undertakings).
Thompson changed the imperative ANNUE to ANNUIT, the third person
singular form of the same verb in either the present tense of the
perfect tense. The the motto ANNUIT COEPTIS the subject of the verb
must be supplied, and the translator must also choose the tense. In
his 1892 brochure, Hunt suggested that the missing subject was in
effect the eye at the apex of the pyramid ... and he translated the
motto-in the present tense-as "it (the Eye of Providence) is
favorable to our undertakings." In later publication the missing
subject of the verb ANNUIT was construed to be God, and the motto has
been translated in more recent Department publication-in the perfect
tense- as "He (God) has favored our undertakings". Newsgroups:

I'm almost 100% positive "Annuit Coeptis" does not mean "God ha
favored our undertaking". Annuit has it's roots in the Latin word for
year. It is commonly used in Latin verse to signal the symbolic
changing seaons (particularly Winter to Spring), or the begining of a
great task (for example, Aeneas setting sail for Libya).

Coeptis is a form of the verb Coepio (coepi, coeptum, meaning to
begin), adapted into a noun, forming coeptus. Coeptis is a form of
coeptus.

İki muhtemel karşılık görünüyor:

öneriyor ki bu benim daha çok dikkatimi çekti.

Firstly, take a look at the Great Seal. It is the logo of a pyramid
with an eye positioned at the top. Most Masonic references are on
this seal.
Eye of Horus- The Egyptian "Eye of Horus" (aka All Seeing Eye.) can
be found at the top of the pyramid. Masons refer to this as the
almighty creator of the universe. It's origins come from the Golden

So what did that eye signify?

We know for certain that the "eye in the triangle" did not originate
with the founders. As a matter of fact, this symbol of an eye in a
triangle had been a common part of Western culture for centuries
before the founders proposed to make it an image on the national seal.

What did folks in 18th century American culture understand an eye in
a triangle to symbolize?

The answer is easily established: it signified "an omniscient and
ubiquitous Deity."
The "overseeing eye" was widely used as a symbol of God throughout
the 15th -18th centuries, and perhaps even earlier. In 1525, the
Renaissance painter, Pontormo, painted the following image: [8]



This picture leaves little question as to the religious symbolism of
the eye in a triangle. In 1554 St. Mary's Church Tower was
constructed in Lancashire, England, with an engraving of the eye
which represented God, the all-seeing protector. [9]

bir Eski Mısır orijini söz konusu. Galiba benim daha önceki tahminim
isabet kaydetti.
2 Piramidin içindeki göz simgesinin Rönesans Avrupasında yaygın
şekilde bilinen ve kullanılan bir sembol olduğu anlaşılıyor. Benzer
bir karşılık söz konusu: her şeyi gören ve her yerde olan. Tabi
hristiyanlar için bu tanrı oluyor.
3 Burada bence asıl önemli olan 2012 Marduk'la Randevu'da Burak Eldem
gösterdi ki Ra Mısır'lılar için Marduk karşılığı idi. Doğal olarak
söz konusu sembol onunla da bağlantılı.
Peki piramit neyi simgeliyor?

Gücü ve dayanıklılığı simgeliyor ki son derece mantıklı. Çünkü
piramitler söz konusu olduğunda bu sıfatlardan daha uygun bir tanım
düşünemiyorum. Bir de yanlış hatırlamıyorsam Mayalar piramit biçimini
dağları model alarak ve depreme dayanıklı bir yapı geliştirmek
amacıyla seçmişler. Bir dağ çağrışımı da düşünülebilir belki.

Bir de "Novus Ordo Seclorum"çevirileri, gizlenmiş bir baykuş simgesi
gibi ayrıntılar var.
Ama bence asıl önemlisi mühürde rastlanmasa da "mimar" sembolizmi ki
daha önce bahsetmiştim. Bunun Mısır karşılığı Ptah oluyor, Sümer' de Enki. Enki de Marduk'un babası oluyor, Ptah da Ra'nın. Yani bu yol da Marduk'a çıkıyor.
