THE AMSTERDAM CONNECTION

Chapter 1 At The Pub
Max and Kate drink beer in the Queen’s Head.Then Max says “You need a holiday,Kate” .But Kate’s boss(Balzano) will not accept this.Dave Balzano is an excellent Editor but sometimes he angry with his reporters.Max’ Kate’s ex-boss.He gives Kate’s first job.That’s why Max important for Kate.Max lives in Holland.He had been born there.His mother was Dutch and his father was English.Max comes to England when he was in his early twenties.But Max retires from Evening News five years ago when he was fifty-five.Tom was the owner of the Rotterdam City Football Club. At the same time he is Max’s brother.After the Max retires the Evening News,He joins his brother.Max comes to England for search new footballers and for seeing his friends.If he coms to England he always drink beer with Kate in the Queen’s Head.And he certainly asks the Kate’s latest story.”You just need a break” Max says again.
Then Max “I call you” says and he finishes his beer and go.He has a dinner with his friend.But he never ring.In fact,she never see him again.Two days later,he was found lying dead in an Amsterdam street with twenty knife wounds in his body

Chapter 2 The Past

Kate asks ”Why did it happen Rick?”.Rick is a reporter too.”It was just a mugger”said Rick.”Amsterdsam is one of the safest cities in the world.Soft drugs and sex,yes,but not much crime at all”said Kate.And Kate should know the truths that’s why she decided to go Amsterdam.And she went to Balzano’s room.
“I’m going to go to Amsterdam for Max dead.And I’m going to write a story about Max” says Kate.Balzano acceptes

Chapter 3 Amsterdam Spring
She goes to Amsterdam with first plane.When she arrives the airport,she calls Elly(Kate’s friend in Amsterdam Police) and they arranges to meet two hours later at cafê.Then she goes to Keizersgracht hotel.And she leave his bag.And goes to Câfe.Elly sits in the outside.Elly doesn’t know about football but she knows about crimes.Because she is a policewoman.Max dies in De Pijp.De Pijp is old place in Amsterdam.”There have been quite a number of stabbings and shootings.We’ve been busy there” said Elly.And then Kate asks the inspector’s name.And Elly answered “Joop De Vries”.And Elly gives the note.In the note”Jos Van Essen Oude Schhans 141”.The note is in Max’s pocket and Elly brings the note in Max’s dead.And then gives the note to Kate.Kate doesn’t know about football but she sees in the newspaper Jos Van Essen’s photos.Jos Van Essen was a retired footballer.

Chapter 4 Talk with a Striker

ate goes to Oude Schans 141.And Kate wants to speak Jos Van Essen.And Jos Van Essen accepted.And Kate”Who is find you for football?” said.”Tom Carson found me.But Max educated me.”said Jos Van Essen.”Why your address found in Max’s pocket?”said Kate.
“In evening we drank beer.And Max wanted my address for visiting me”said Jos Van Essen.”And Where he go?”said Kate.”He will eat dinner with his friend.But he has heart attack”said Jos Van Essen.”Why are you retired from Rotterdam City Football Club?” said Kate. ”Somethink is different” said Jos Van Essen.The time was late and Kate backed to his Hotel.
Chapter 5 Dinner at Sluizer’s

ate goes to De Pijp.And She enters in a bar.Then she asks to owner of the bar “I heard there was a murder here the other night.” The barmen “Oh yes,big trouble We’ve had the police here almost all the time”says.
“Does it happen a lot around here?”Kate asks.”Well,it’s getting worse”says barmen.Then she turns round.And she sees a man who is drinking beer and smoke.”I’m Bert “He says.”Everybody round here heard about it”says he.And Kate gives his telephone to Bert and she says”If you hear anything about what happened call me.””Yes” Bert says.Then she goes his hotel and she sleeps 2 hour.And Elly calls kate and she invites her to Sluizers Restaurant.Then Kate goes to restaurant.And Elly says”Max’s murder finds by Vries’s team.the murder is a mugger and he uses drugs.”Kate says “Why Max invite me in Amsterdam?” And she have to call Balzano.She calls Balzano.And she learns bad news.The story is written by Joe Simmons(He is a best reporter).However in her mind there is a something different and Kate wants four days.Balzano gives her a four days.She thanks Balzano and close the phone.
Chapter 6 Bert’s Story

ert calls Kate and he wants to speak Kate.Kate accepted.Then she goes the bar.Bert drinks beer in the bar.”I know information about Max dead.But if you give me 400 dutch money I’ll tell you what happened”Kate says “If you come to my hotel I’ll give your money” and Bert accepted.In 13:30 Bert comes the hotel.And Kate gives his money and He says”One man see the Max in car.But he is not alive.And the person who is mugger stole wallet in Max’s dead.Max doesn’t alive.Kate shocked and she backs his room and sleep.

Chapter 7 Rotterdam
Kate meets Tom Carson in Rotterdam City Football Club.She meets Tom in his Office.Tom has a sport body.He played in Ajax in his twenties.Kate says “I want to write a story about Rotterdam City Footbal Club.” Max accepted.In few minutes training is begin.They watch the training.Then Kate and Tom visit football school and Kate backs her hotel.
