On this account, an omnipotent God will not have power to make a tablet hat God did not make. The power to create a being that one cannot control and thereby give up one’s omnipotence is not a power that could logically be possessed by a being who had the attributes of God including immutability. Consequently, the answer to the conundrum is in the negative: but this does not clash with the notion of divine omnipotence as we have now described it.
